Over the past year, the development of AI has rapidly accelerated, with new tools and applications emerging daily that are transforming nearly every industry. These AI-driven tools have the potential to completely change the way we interact and work with technology. But what does it mean to create great AI-based products? While the AI industry focuses mostly on the technical improvements of the underlying algorithms, Dirk argues that taking a human-centered design approach to create AI-based applications is even more crucial than ever. AI-based systems are expected to be smarter, more complex, and more personalized. This means that knowledge about user needs, behavior and interaction between the user and AI system will be even more important to create a great customer experience.

Sam and Michiel are looking back at the second quarter of 2023. We look at what disrupted the technology field in a big way in the past few months. With many hands-on demos as an example, you'll have an excellent overview of our as-is today and what will hopefully break through in the next months.
